This explains what LSBid collects, why, and what we do not do. It covers lsbid.com and the LSBid application.

LSBid is operated by Munger Vitality, Inc. ("we"), a company registered in the United States. Munger Vitality, Inc. is the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

Your email address — to create your account and sign you in.
Your name and mobile number — to verify your account with a one-time code sent by text message, and so a seller can reach you about a lot you have won.
A delivery address — only if you choose to have a lot shipped. It also determines the sales tax on your invoice.
Your bids and watched lots — the record of what you did on the platform.
A location preference — a postcode you enter to see auctions near you. This is a browsing preference, kept separately from any delivery address.

What we never store

Card details. Payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor and never reaches LSBid's servers. We hold only a reference token, the card brand, its last four digits and its expiry date, so you can recognise your own card.

Who else sees it

The seller of a lot you win sees what they need to complete the sale — your name, contact details, and a delivery address if you chose shipping.
Other bidders never see your identity. Bid history shows anonymised paddle numbers and amounts. Your maximum bid is never disclosed to anyone.
Service providers we rely on to run the platform: hosting, our database, email and text message delivery, address validation and payment processing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Email

We send transactional email only — verification codes, password resets and team invitations. There is no marketing list to unsubscribe from. Bounces and complaints are recorded and acted on automatically.

Text messages (SMS)

When you enter your mobile number to create an LSBid account, we send a one-time verification code to that number by text message, to confirm it is yours. That is the only text message LSBid sends: one message each time a code is requested. We send no marketing or promotional texts.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, or your SMS opt-in and consent information, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our text message provider uses your number only to deliver the code.

How long we keep it

Your account — for as long as it is open. If you ask us to delete it, we do so within 30 days, apart from the records below.
Completed sales, invoices and sales-tax records — seven years. LSBid collects and remits sales tax as a marketplace facilitator, and must be able to support every return it files.
Bounce and complaint records for email — two years, so that we do not keep sending to an address that has rejected us.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account, at hello@lsbid.com. Deleting an account does not remove records we must keep for completed sales.

Children

LSBid is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will say so here and update the date above.
